Mt. Redoubt

Mt. Redoubt erupted again on Saturday. We drove into Anchorage to a friends house and the highway looked like you were driving on a gravel road with so much ash being kicked up from the cars. We got a little ash in the valley but the wind blew it out through the night. We had to be careful though Sunday morning as we opened our car doors because you'd get a little puff of ash and as I've mentioned before ash is not like dust particles, its made of rock so it doesnt just dissipate. Ash will cling to the inside of your lungs. That is why everyone was suppose to cover anything with an air intake (computers, cars, mouths, etc).
